A Gucci Dionysus bag sold for 350,000 Robux, the virtual currency of Roblox, for $4,115 in real world money. The exclusive bag was sold as part of, “Gucci Garden Experience” a 2 weeklong collaboration Roblox and Gucci. The fashion brand held the event in the Roblox gaming metaverse to attract the attention of the coveted Gen-Z demographic of 6–24-year-olds.

Gucci Debuted Its First NFT Film At Christie’s Auction
Gucci first NFT film, inspired by the new Aria collection by Alessandro Michele, is up for auction at Christie‘s ‘PROOF OF SOVEREIGNTY NFT’ sale. With starting bid of US$20,000 the sale will end on June 3. Proceeds to be donated to UNICEF USA to support global fair access to Covid-19 vaccines.
Nebula Genomics and Akon’s NFT Platform, AkoinNFT, To Launch The First Genomic NFT
Nebula Genomics is associating with Grammy-Nominated artist Akon’s Non Fungible Token (NFT) Platform known as AkoinNFT, and Oasis Labs to auction Professor George Church’s (Nebula Genomics’ co-founder) full genome. The auction will be carried out on June 10. This could be considered one of the world’s first genomic NFTs. To safeguard the genomic data sold as an NFT, Nebula Genomics will hold Oasis Labs’ Parcel SDK in the Oasis Network. The highest bid on Professor George Church’s NFT will take ownership of the NFT and ownership certificate of the genomic data. Customers who purchase the NFT will also receive Nebula’s whole genome sequencing of their personal DNA.
